POLYEM CA-25

DESCRIPTION
Liquid emulsifier in aqueous solution based on quaternary ammonium salts, to produce cationic bituminous emulsions at rapid and medium breaking speed. Used for the production of bituminous emulsions for the construction and maintenance of road paving.

APPLICATION
POLYEM CA-25 is suitable to produce acidic (cationic) bituminous emulsions with a rapid and medium breaking rate, class 2, 3 and 4 according to EN 13075-1 standards, for the following applications:

• Emulsions for road paving, designed for surface treatment without grit.
• Emulsions for road paving, designed to carry out surface treatments using grit.

DIRECTIONS OF USE
POLYEM CA-25 is dissolved in water at a temperature of 40 ° C and subsequently saponified with hydrochloric acid, bringing the pH of the final solution to a value of about 2.
POLYEM CA-25 can be used for the production of emulsions both modified with water phase elastomers (latexes), and with the use of modified bitumen with polymers.
POLYEM CA-25 is used all over the world and can work with all types of aggregates and bitumen and with different weather conditions.

DOSAGE
The POLYEM CA-25 dosage varies from 0.2% to 0.6% on the weight of the final emulsion, depending on the type of application to be carried out and the desired breaking index.
