POLYEM CA-30 is suitable to produce acidic (cationic) bituminous emulsions at slow breaking speed and in particular to produce over-stabilized cationic bituminous emulsions, destined for the following applications:
• Emulsions designed to be mixed with aggregates, such as: cold plastic conglomerates, cold microtapes, semi-open asphalts, etc.
• Emulsions designed to be very stable even if mixed with very fine aggregates, such as: cold milling, slurry-seal, land stabilization, etc.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
POLYEM CA-30 is dissolved in water, at a temperature of 40 ° C and if necessary acidified with hydrochloric acid, bringing the pH of the final solution to a value of about 3-5.
POLYEM CA-30 can be used for the production of emulsions both modified with water phase elastomers (lactic), and with the use of modified bitumen with polymers (PMB). POLYEM CA-30 is used all over the world and can work with all types of aggregates and bitumen and with different weather conditions.
The POLYEM CA-30 dosage varies from 0.8% to 1.2% on the weight of the final emulsion, depending on the type of application to be carried out and the desired breaking index.

POLYEM CA-30 can be stored for 24 months in original and closed packaging, at a temperature between 5 ° C and 30 ° C.
