DESCRIPTION
Additive for the production of warm bituminous conglomerates containing high percentages of milled material (RAP). The main feature of POLYGEN LT is that it allows to lower the production, laying and compaction temperature of the bituminous conglomerate, while providing a regenerating action of the old bitumen contained in the milled material and a complete and effective covering of the surface of the virgin aggregates. This specific feature leads to an increase in the workability of the bituminous mixture, containing high percentages of milled material, allowing it to be more easily compacted even at the lowest temperatures.
APPLICATION
POLYGEN LT can be used in any type of conglomerate produced in a lukewarm way.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
POLYGEN LT is added directly into the mixer of the production plant during the production phase of the conglomerate, using an automatic dispenser.
DOSAGE
The dosage of POLYGEN LT varies according to the percentage of milled material added to the mix and above all by the operating conditions (temperature, distance from the construction site, humidity of the milled product, etc.). The percentage of product to be dosed can vary from 0.1% to 0.2% of the weight of the milled product used.
STORAGE
POLYGEN LT can be stored for 24 months in its original closed packaging, at a temperature between 5 ° C and 30 ° C. Depending on the storage temperature, the product can vary viscosity, however its characteristics are not compromised.
