DESCRIPTION
Additive to produce warm bituminous conglomerates containing high percentages of milled material (RAP). The main feature of POLYGEN RF is that it allows to low the production temperature, spreading and compacting the bituminous conglomerate, while providing a regenerating action of the old bitumen contained in the milled and a complete and effective
covering of the surface of virgin aggregates.
This specific characteristic entails an increase in the workability of the bituminous mixture, containing high milling percentages, allowing it to be more easily compactable even at lower temperatures.
APPLICATION
POLYGEN RF can be used in any type of warm conglomerate.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
POLYGEN RF is added directly into the mixer of the production plant during the conglomerate production phase, using an automatic metering device.
DOSAGE
The POLYTHERM RF dosage varies according to the percentage of milling added to the mix and above all to the working conditions (temperature, distance from the building site, humidity of the milled product, etc.). The percentage of product to be dosed can vary from 0.1% to 0.2% on the weight of the milled product used.
STORAGE
POLYGEN RF can be stored for 24 months in original and closed packaging, at a temperature between 5 ° C and 30 ° C. Depending on the storage temperature, the product may vary viscosity, however its characteristics are not compromised.
